Worthington Work Chosen by Juror

Mary Gray, Director of The Ohio Arts Council's Riffe Gallery, was chosen to jury the Worthington works in the exhibition.  The Riffe Gallery showcases the work of Ohio’s artists and the collections of the state’s museums and galleries and Ms. Gray has juried, curated, coordinated, installed and directed hundreds of exhibitions throughout her career.  The McConnell Arts Center is grateful for her service and is also grateful of the ongoing support of the Ohio Arts Council.

Ms. Gray has chosen 56 works that she believes embodies the spirit of Worthington, Ohio and the artists who create. It is hopeful that the citizens of Sayama will enjoy the same.

Thanks Mary!

Turn in of Worthington Work

Work arrived today from the Worthington Area Art League in consideration for the PNC Worthington Sayama Exchange.

99 pieces were submitted for consideration -  up to two per artist.  Actual work was dropped off at the MAC and each artist signed in his/her work.  Because of shipping requirements, each piece could not exceed 36 inches on the longest side.

We are off and running! The Worthington Area Art League is one of the largest art leagues in Ohio, encompassing members of all levels of experience and background.

This great project was made possible by funding from PNC Arts Alive!
